1. Open Edition Prints
Pros:
• Affordability: Typically the most budget-friendly option.
• Availability: Easy to replace or buy later since there's no limit on how many are produced.
• Accessibility: A great way to enjoy an artist’s work without a big investment.
Cons:
• Less Exclusive: Not rare or unique—many people can own the same piece.
• Lower Resale Value: Doesn’t usually increase in value over time.
• Minimal Collector Appeal: Less attractive to collectors who value scarcity.


2. Limited Edition Prints
Pros:
• Exclusivity: Only a set number are made, often signed and numbered.
•  Growth value: May appreciate in value, especially if the artist becomes more well-known.
• Collector Appeal: Seen as a collectible due to limited numbers.
Cons:
• Higher Cost: Generally more expensive than open editions.
• Limited Availability: Once sold out, they can be hard or impossible to find.
• Pressure to Buy Quickly: Customers might feel rushed if they’re worried about missing out.


3. Hand-Embellished Prints
Pros:
• Unique Touch: Each piece is slightly different with personal touches from the artist.
• Closer to an Original: A nice middle ground between a print and an original painting.
• High Collectability: Often seen as special or premium editions.
Cons:
• More Expensive: Costs more due to the extra time and effort involved.
• Delicate Handling: May require more care, especially if texture or paint is added.
